DADMAC (Diallyldimethylammonium chloride) is a high purity, polymer grade, quaternary ammonium salt and high charge density cationic monomer. Its appearance is a colorless and transparent liquid without irritating smell.

DADMAC can be dissolved in water very easily. There is an alkenyl double bond in the molecular structure and it can form linear homopolymers and all kinds of copolymers through various polymerization reactions. DADMAC is very stable at normal temperature, unhydrolyzed and nonflammable, with low irritation to skin and low toxicity.

This product has two specifications: 35% and 30%.

Solutions

Application: DADMAC can be used as a cationic monomer to form copolymer and homopolymer. Its polymer can be used in dyeing and finishing auxiliaries as an advanced formaldehyde-free color-fixing agent. It can form film on fabric and improve color fastness. It can be used in papermaking, coating and antistatic agents, AKD sizing promoter, and as a retention and drainage agent. It also can be used to decolorize, flocculate, purify effectively and non-toxically in water treatment. In daily chemicals, it can be used in shampoo as a carding agent, wetting agent and antistatic agent. In oilfield chemicals, it can be used as a clay stabilizer, acid fracturing cation additive, etc. Its functions are neutralization, absorption, flocculation, purification and decoloration, especially showing excellent conductivity and antistatic performance as a modifier of synthetic resin.
